Video files not embedding and loading properly on swf publish

I have tried multiple file types (mp4 and flv), both input variations (event and synchronized) and multiple flash output versions (10.x Worst case, I can link the video file, however I do not wish it to open in a separate instance/platform/window in order to be a seamless experience for the user. x), all to no avail.
