Many are offered in a 16X9 format. (I I had to make some adjustments, while maintaining the aspect ratio to get fit the image exactly into 1024X627. And, if you want to access more, you can download “thousands” from Microsoft directly within PowerPoint. They are sorted by categories such as Education and Business.

When scaling your image, it’s crucial to maintain the ratio of width to height, known as aspect ratio, so it doesn’t end up stretched or warped. Most them work perfectly in one of two aspect ratios: 1:1 (square). To save the slide as an image, go to Save As and choose an image format. I usually save in PNG format. Right click on it and you’ll see the format shape option. If you right click on the image, you’ll get access to the Format Picture window where you have a bit more control to fine-tune the sizing. If you hold SHIFT and then click and drag from the corner, the image will scale up or down without changing its aspect ratio.

PSD is the default format for saving data in Photoshop. Using the PSD format allows you to save every detail specified when an image is edited, including layers, masks and selections, which we’ll describe later in the series. Not only is PowerPoint a powerful way to put together a presentation, it can also be a quick and simple way to export formatted, perfectly-sized images. Use the Format Picture > Crop panel’s “picture position” “crop position” height and width boxes to precisely set the dimensions. There you go!
