Currently, Litmos does not offer the ability for online/offline synchronization with a mobile device. The interface you showed was similar in many ways to the old GeoLearning 3D look back in 2002 (which Geo eventually dumped – too bad). Wow, wasn’t that marching band fantastic? GeoLearning. Basically the synchronous approach is in essence, shoving ILT online with some discussion threads, whereas the end user enters in some text, others respond, and they hope the instructor is active in the experience (many are not).

Some will be the vendors you know today - SumTotal , GeoLearning , SAS , Oracle , etc. But don't be surprised if you're learning business process tools from Hyperion or Verity , synchronous meeting tools from Interwise or Skype , team/community enablement tools from UberGroups or Google and data mining and content management tools from Documentum or Fatwire. Per Mindy B's request, here's my version of our future. I can elaborate a little now.
