Mzinga is a merger of KnowledgePlanet (an LMS provider and also the maker of the eLearning simulation tool - Firefly) and Shared Insights - a community / business social networking software company. The top execs at Mzinga are not the top execs from KnowledgePlanet. It makes me wonder what this says about the LMS and tools market.

I've also added a couple of links at the bottom to other sources on eLearning Tools that might be helpful. Most of these fit into the PowerPoint + Audio and most convert to Flash for delivery.

Mzinga is the result of a merger between KnowledgePlanet and Shared Insights at the end of 2007. My first encounter with them was when they were still known as KnowledgePlanet. This is the seventh featured system in my Friday series highlighting LMSs that are doing innovative, kick-ass things with social media.
