I note this, because this post covers my new Learning Systems RFP Template , which includes the latest NexGen Tier 4 feature sets. Simply speaking the systems are becoming extremely similar, with only minor differences. When see the template you are going to be like “this is a lot of features and categories, no vendor will complete all of this.” Vendors who gripe, clearly have never experienced a 10 page or more RFI/RFP (and high page RFPs are common). .

Three months ago, only a few systems had either integrated for no additional charge or for additional fees, a talent management/performance management feature set. There is a growing list of vendors, including small/mid size that are adding talent management components that match the Big Dog systems. A couple of vendors have added HRIS modules. The challenge though is that there are customers who have no desire and zero interest to use or have a TM in their system.
