Unfortunately, I discovered that one had to be able to use the arcane language of HTML (all those damnable brackets, slashes, and short forms!). Even with the advent of user-friendly HTML editors, you still required some IT support and guidance to get something up on a web site that worked and looked half-decent.

HTML/HTML5 and Web Programming Again, not to debate this here but HTML or any derivative of it is the backbone of just about any eLearning package I’ve ever built. Think of HTML as the foundation and all the other programming languages are the windows and walls. Start with a service like Yammer or Ning to control the audience.
