Super potential, the show has always been ILT (which is still extremely popular in the UK), but there were LMS vendors there and a couple of e-learning, m-learning tools. As someone who is hardcore e-learning, I have to say it was not only pure genius for the ILT team building exercise, but the approach in general was very nice.

LMSs/LCMS/CMS/learning platforms in commercial and open space continued their presence. I have seen continued interest and downloads for open source AR tool kits. Augmented reality opens those doors. Some items stood out, others continued in an everlasting awful experience (customer and support service – as a whole).

Open Source Product of the Year (i.e. Sure, other vendors will say you can do that too, but you have to open each object file to get it. Greater usage of open source content authoring tools, across all sectors, not just education and regardless of tech skill set or instructional developer background. Game Changer!

Use of PowerPoint in ILT and now those folks are moving over to WBT. PENS – This compliance standard has been around for 8+ years, but several vendors are offering it as a capability. It’s growth can be attributed (IMO) to. I hope they succeed – because it would be a major game changer (no pun intended).
