I’m already seeing the sidestep I wrote about just a week ago, in order for vendors to reduce cost (those tokens). Maybe today it is ChatGPT (cheaper token-wise).

Sure a vendor can say we are an LXP, but a LMS too or vice versa. LMS vendors on the other hand are adding LXP features, to counter, and in some marketing may note, learning experience blah blah. . You should ideally have at least 10 or if you have less, then you also will have an actual 3rd party content aggregator such as GO1 or Open Sesame or both. For example, GO1 has provided five courses/content in the past for free for some vendors. Today, it is the format most vendors follow, including LXPs.

Thus, I focused on at least 50% for Tier 5 (although the higher the better, but even today, vendors are still a work in progress on these items), 85% or higher for Tier 4, 100% Tier 3. I won’t say who the vendor is, but they are big into adaptive learning and push that as the key for their system. Every item received points.

I’ve never heard of someone at any of these vendors mention blue-collar when discussing job roles based on skills. . Funding dried up, they couldn’t stay open with said funding, and it shuttered. More vendors in that space, now refer to themselves in some other manner, digital learning platform, learning platform.
