From a vendor perspective there was a huge impact, but what was odd, is that some vendors still are living in the past, as though, this is a minor blip, and in 2021, everything will go back as it was – corporate wise that is. It was clear that not even LXP vendors (as a whole) knew – which explained why they targeted L&D, ignoring the other monster in the room, training. Thus, I focused on at least 50% for Tier 5 (although the higher the better, but even today, vendors are still a work in progress on these items), 85% or higher for Tier 4, 100% Tier 3. Content marketplace is quite extensive, they even offer a search for Instructor option, although I found it to be heavily ILT. . Bookmarklet extension is good, and was for a time, the first vendor in the LXP market to have one, it has fallen behind the two leaders. Spark is their key system here, and will work for nearly everyone.

I know and understand why customers focus heavy on it, but be aware that the majority of vendors are on AWS, plus have 256 bit AES (minimum) and numerous fail safes. Folks seem fine with the vendor noting how awesome their support is, without extracting any metrics or verifiable data. . I know I have.

The Association market is by far, IMO, one of the top three markets, that as a vendor, you should be in. However, a professional association may also allow companies to be members too, and sometimes, there are vendors who are members referred to in the industry as “associate members” (but the vernacular can be different).
