He founded the computer-based course authoring tool Authorware in 1984 and later formed Macromedia through a merger which was then bought by Adobe Systems. Michael Allen and I sit down and discuss the Zebra program at ASTD conference way back in 2011. Our first thought was to build a better programming language than the one PLATO had.

Since the advent of e-learning, Macromedia products were popular, and enormous quantities of content were generated using platforms like Director and Flash. L&D cannot stop the creation of new training programs and focus on conversion/migration because it will affect business performance for years to come. Information Technology.

Scenarios : Scenarios are constructed situations that enable learners to put information into the context in which they might actually use the new skills. Since the human brain learns new things using association, scenarios help learners perceive information in a manner that they can retain easily and use long after they take the course.

Authorware merged with MacroMind/Paracomp to become Macromedia, which was later acquired by Adobe. Research on human learning can be quite informative, but research on instruction is difficult because of the many circumstantial variables that have impact. Being able to edit a program while it continues to execute is one of them.
