Use of PowerPoint in rapid content authoring tools – this has been a big irritant of mine, since the days when PPT first made its appearance in rapid content authoring tools. Some vendors use chapter-page approach with PPT, but there are plenty who do not (why?). Even with just content only – like PPT or video files.

Feature sets – they have to be more than PPT to Flash or add an audio clip and video clip to the course. The version you want is the Pro version which comes with Corel Paint Shop Pro, Qarbon Viewlet builder. 5 easyGenerator – You can read a review of their last version on this blog. Solid set of features.

For those who are e-learning developers, instructional designers (with the background to back it) or instructional technologists, I feel your pain. PowerPoint still reigns – If you are a course purist, the idea that PPT should be seen as an authoring tool should make you grumble with disgust. . Output to HTML5.

Content Authoring tools that offer their own LMS – albeit it is a lite version, which only accepts their content authoring tool courses. Create SD and HD movies. Supports HD h.264

Many of the templates follow a structure approach – which thus is based on whoever built that template – their learning approach design – I mean are they truly instructional designers who built those templates for you to use; or some person who knows computers and graphics and built those templates? Responsive .

I work as an instructional designer in southern Brazil. The tabletPC is just like using a mouse only I use a pen. Instead of seeing mouse movements in my movie capture, you saw my note writing via the pen and tabletPC. Since the pen input is just like a mouse and software that captures your mouse works. GIMP is one.
