Seven Things I Learned This Year

Over the past few years, I spend part of December going back through my blog to recap a bit of what some of the key things I’ve learned over the course of the year. Twitter is Much Better than I Thought for Learning I used to say during presentations that I wasn’t quite sure about twitter as a learning tool. I’ve had to find ways to filter the flow and figure out when/how to reach out. I’m looking forward to doing more of this going forward.

Two weeks ago I got the wonderful opportunity to speak in OZ, specifically Melbourne, Australia. They were hungry to know more information. I readily admit that I was unsure what to expect. From products that ranged from the latest versions of RCATs to new vendors in the space, including text to speech. . Not only was it doing the new “avatar” experience, similar to Storyline, but when you recorded your audio, they claimed it would synch up to the character’s lips – that is right, real synchronization. . I believe that is going to change.

A time to get together, relax and over gorge on food – whatever it might be. You watch a couple of football games, normally including the lousy Lions (not this year, though) and grumble to yourself whether you should eat that last piece of pumpkin pie or not (I always eat it).
