The new iSpring Pro 7 – currently in beta adds additional powerhouse features, including PPT to HTML5 output (which right now is a standalone product). #8 While their Slideshark app for the iPad is nifty, it is not the only product that showcases PPT and is free. Yeah it is another PPT spin product but does stand out. #5

And therein lies one of the issues, that is showing up with many, many vendors. PowerPoint still reigns – If you are a course purist, the idea that PPT should be seen as an authoring tool should make you grumble with disgust. . For the Instructional designer and e-learning developers: Lectora Online. Static is boring.

Social – Snooze. Use of PowerPoint in rapid content authoring tools – this has been a big irritant of mine, since the days when PPT first made its appearance in rapid content authoring tools. Some vendors use chapter-page approach with PPT, but there are plenty who do not (why?). Includes responsive capability.

Thoughts and issues related to the development of eLearning content and general eLearning issues with an occasional diversion here or there. It works within PowerPoint so that any one who knows PPT can quickly come up to speed to create a nice looking presentation. Lectora I choose Lectora as the next piece of my tool kit.

Empower, but I ran into a major issue with Snap! Lectora’s Snap! is not the only product which has an issue with a 64 bit Windows computer but in combination with PPT 2010, I’m unaware of any other. Lectora Snap! Duration (same issue as above) – but keep size. What was it? So, no Snap!

This eliminates that issue. Remember when only a few offered the PPT to Flash option in their tools? It has blown past social learning, and continues to roll. Most people assume that Articulate, Lectora and Captivate are the best tools out there, that is no longer the case. What happened? Everyone started to include it.
