I received a Photoshop file the other day for use in a Captivate project. He was in a bit of a panic because he had sent me a Photoshop file (PSD) instead of the.jpg image I had requested. Adobe Captivate imports native Photoshop files, and you don't have to have Photoshop on your computer.

If you have Photoshop , I recommend using it for the next step. Although Cp can edit your image to fit your slide, I prefer Photoshop’s precision and editing options. If I had wanted to, I could have adjusted the opacity, hue, or any of the many other tools in Photoshop. jpg slide you created in Step 5.

You can make the background of an image transparent with an advanced photo editor like Photoshop , with TechSmith’s Snagit , or with a variety of other tools. Keep in mind, Snagit is not as sophisticated as a tool like Photoshop, and it may not work on images or photos with complex backgrounds. Step 1: Insert the image into the editor.

The first thing that I don’t quite understand the purpose of is the inability to use grouped objects or to place png or jpg files on top of each other within a fluid box. But with fluid boxes, the only workaround I found is to go to a photoshop and make it one picture. GROUPED OBJECTS AND “LAYER” OBJECTS.
