One of the comments I received on Network Effects - YouTube - Video Blogs and More that had a video hosted on YouTube was: We see and hear more and more about corporate content published on YouTube. Well I can help answer the question about access to YouTube and other Web 2.0 So, YouTube is blocked 27.7%.

This is likely already happening among your employees — when they have a technical problem (especially if they’re working from home and don’t have immediate access to IT) their first stop may be Google or YouTube and not the company Slack. Offer learning through email and other communication channels.

This is happening in many situations: major publishers (CNN, Yahoo, Cnet) competing with niches publishers, competing with blogs; TV production facing a widely distributed audience across 500 cable channels and YouTube. Cost is most often not a factor in a knowledge workers decision about the use of information.
