I include Learning Portals, LCMSs, as part of the mix. Open Source Systems – That have to be 100% free to be considered. Please remember for TM or as some vendors like to pitch as “performance management or knowledge management&# , the modules are extra and are not part of the system (at least for now).

If I am a potential customer, I would expect nothing less to come out of the vendor’s mouth on their product and user friendliness. Who is going to buy a product, where the salesperson says, “Well, our system is really difficult and we lose customers over it&# ? Learning Management Systems, LCMS, Learning Portals.
