Wellington, NZ, 21 June 2021 -- GoSkills, a leading LMS and online learning platform, announced today that it has been named "Overall e-Learning Company of the Year" in the 2021 EdTech Breakthrough Awards.
EdTech Breakthrough is a market intelligence company that aims to perform the “deepest evaluations of the global educational technology industry each year to recognize and highlight the “breakthrough” EdTech solutions and companies.” This year, the organization received over 2,000 nominations, breaking records for previous years.
Previous recipients of this award include Google and Open Sesame. Other award winners this year include: Discovery Education, Promethean, Rosetta Stone, and Turnitin.
GoSkills’ free LMS, which was launched in 2019, has optional premium upgrades, and there are no minimum learner requirements. This enables businesses of all sizes and budgets to access high quality training tools. GoSkills also has a library of microlearning courses and offers gamification to promote learner engagement.

GoSkills was also named a High Performer by G2 for the fifth consecutive season in three categories: Online Course Providers, Technical Skills Development, and Corporate Learning Management Solutions.
This is the first quarter that GoSkills has been recognized as a High Performer on the Enterprise Grid® and Mid-Market Grid®, and the 5th consecutive quarter for the Small-Business Grid®.
Finally, GoSkills was also named a Category Leader in Training Software by leading software review platforms: GetApp, Capterra, and SoftwareAdvice.
