Nominee #1 End the SCORM/xAPI etc. nomenclature on the back end of the learning system. I always laugh when a vendor says, “legacy,” as though everyone in L&D, Training, HR and whatever other department is overseeing the learning system, knows what that term means. It absolutely makes no sense.

Analytics including “Program Value” – shows the ROI in terms of metrics that you can show. Except for the ROI metrics. The whole point of these platforms are learner-centric approach – allow me to pick by my interests and learn. Plus, on the metrics side there is way too many metrics for assignments.

LinkedIn Learning to me is a digital learning platform. Does it belong in the Top 50 Learning Systems for 2020? Metrics – Simplified, this is not a platform for robust metrics visible on the screen (because you have to download them), and even then the robustness overall isn’t there.

So, yeah, use your headset, see the content, look at a couple some metrics, then decide maybe an FTP is a better route. Going back to Quest, you will want to buy Quest specific headphones, because the sound out of Quest itself is mind-numbing. Folks in L&D and Training have enough problems budget wise to land a learning system.
