Also there are strong reasons for HTML 5 not being able to replace Flash as pointed out by a former Macromedia person Jeremy Allaire in this article. Flash is already optimized for x86 which rules the desktop market.

Articulate Presenter was around well before eHelp (one of the leading companies) was purchased by Macromedia that was purchased by Adobe. In fact, eHelp licensed Articulate Presenter for their own RoboPresenter product. These tools didn’t get their start in 2007.

This is a huge upgrade, and the first time Adobe has released a unified upgrade for all the Adobe and former Macromedia products. I will be upgrading my license at work as soon as possible. They’ve also changed the bundles - thank you Adobe. The CS4 Web Premium bundle now includes: Dreamweaver CS4. Flash CS4 Professional.

While I have seen a few that give off the “rapid build” appearance, unless you have experience with solutions in the past like Authorware, MacroMedia Director, or similar brethren, you will face some serious challenges. Hierarchy/Tree view – Focused on course elements, objects, etc. How much is this going to cost me?

Special upgrade pricing is available to customers who have valid licenses for Adobe Captivate 9 and want to upgrade to the 2017 release of Adobe Captivate.
