They may be right - and the interest which is shown in free and low-cost tools on Jane Hart's C4LPT site bears this out - but does this really help us to determine what a tool is actually worth? Time was an authoring tool cost at very least $1K and often much more. In fact many toys never get used.

We opted for S3 due to its combination of low cost, security and flexibility. S3 and Cloudfront are not that easy to work with, compared to Rackspace’s Cloud Files solution, but they are much more flexible and cost-effective. G Suite – Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar. Balsamiq – Low fidelity mockups.
