Jack Phillips began applying the four levels in the late ’60s and later extended the work by adding ROI as the fifth level. I just saw an announcement that Don will retire from the speaking circuit this year. Few people have single-handedly made such an impact on our profession. I have known Don for years and his story is very interesting.
