Apparently, an acquaintance challenged my colleague Harold Jarche’s Personal Knowledge Mastery (PKM) model. So, I’ve talked about PKM before , but I want to elaborate. Here’s my take on the case for PKM. We’re often no so meta-reflective, yet that ends up being a critical component to improving. PKM integrates different frameworks, and creates a practical approach. Whether we depend on others to provide us with curated content or wedecide to become curators in our area(s) of expertise or interest, the need forcuration as a sense making and PKM activity is undeniable. This is of course similar to the PKM model suggested byHarold Jarche.
