Teasers show up in movie preview campaigns. A teaser on the net that is different than the one in the movie theater preview that it is different than the one on TV. My favorite was project Capricorn One (classic late 70’s movie and a dream to conspiracy folks regarding outer space). It builds excitement and intrigue.

One of my favorite movies of all time is Glengarry Glen Ross. People like people that are similar, which by the way is a propaganda technique (Just like you and me) often used in advertising. Teasers are great for newscasts – “coming up how wild turkeys are eating humans”, movies and Super Bowl commercials.

The story includes Cold War politics, Hamas, massive dope deals, the Shah of Iran, underhanded politics, cover ups galore, extreme naivete, the legacy of British colonialism, women’s rights, mullahs, made-up enemies, and self-serving propaganda — such a heady mix that Oliver Stone wanted to make a movie out of it all.
