The speeds presented were ideal speeds, but I remember, landing 38KBS in Boston, with a 56K modem. Heck, I was in a doctorate program, whereas the majority of the ‘courses’ was via Lotus Notes, the other was ILT. Think about it this way, could someone shove 640mb CBT online with a 14.4, let alone 56K modem? BB dominated.

My methodology: Rapid = Tool designed for SME with no page design, authoring, or programming experience (this doesn’t exclude tools with additional functionality for advanced users). PRIMARY type of content is online courses, CBT, conversion of existing content, presentations (and not tests/assessment, games, simulation tools).

14 Mzinga Publisher. Actions, scripts, programming. I’d say that this is one product that is better suited for instructional designers/e-learning developers who loved Dazzler Max (late 90′s, early 2000′s product) or like the ability to do some customized actions, scripts and programming. . I hate hearing the same presentations over and over. However, there's Communities / Social Networking and LMS Merger announcement around Mzinga. We will start to see Wikis and tools like ZohoCreator being used by normal people like us to build simple web applications - similar in complexity to spreadsheet programming.
