When they went course aggregator, I saw them as a nice alternative to Skillsoft who was off acquiring other course providers including NetG and then down the road, Element K. SAP buying SF, and the person who came up with the idea to do so, was equally brilliant. SF today is a cash cow for SAP. A good idea all-around.

Learning System TrailBlazers – Who’s Next?

SuccessFactors acquired the Plateau LMS (way before SF was acquired by SAP). SAP Litmos was originally Litmos, and Callidus Cloud acquired LMS out of New Zealand, and then a few years back, acquired by SAP. NetG, Element K, being just two. I will add there was some confusion around Litmos and the whole Plateau thing.
