Twitter - microblogging Twitter is good for networking with colleagues, use and follow hashtags like #lrnchat. Diigo - or any other social bookmarker Diigo is very important to keep track off your online sources. An alternative to this bookmark tool is delicious. Yammer is spontaneous, but experienced as chaotic and fast.

Yammer (internal twittering) is almost impossible to explain to someone who has no experience with any social networking (and probably not with anything more than email lists). My suggestion is that you don't really try to sell Yammer or a Wiki or any other kind of tool. Twitter/Yammer is something new.
