Not only that, if at all anything goes wrong with the software, say a technical glitch, the vendor will look into it and resolve it for you. ePub3 format includes images, media, style sheets, audio, video, text-to-speech and many more functionalities which are required for an eBook. Amazon, for example, does not support ePUB.

What always stuns me are vendors who state they know what their learners want, but in reality have no clue, because they themselves do not see the technology and its usage among the masses. For each authoring ranking, a brief true ghost story, then the vendor and why it was selected. Text to Speech – awesome! Can use their own text to speech options or record your own voice. Doubtful – and if you do, don’t share that info with your colleagues, because if a blog post scares you, well.

Equation tool – I’ve seen more vendors add this thing – and unless you are in education I can’t see why you would use it. Text to speech – Very nice – everyone should offer this feature. Work offline with their optional Studio Server – extra charge. Screen capture and recording.
