Two of my start-up clients have recently discussed adding video conferencing to their web offering. In looking out there, it seems like there are some flash-based solutions like Sightspeed , ooVoo , SnapYap and Tokbox. and now they want to explore providing video chat between the parties.

I have a real issue with vendors who charge extra – via a license with their “partner&# or otherwise for a web conferencing – and thus ability to offer webinars, in their solution. Mikogo - online meetings, web conferencing, webinars, etc. Ekiga – VOIP and Web Conferencing, HD Quality – nice!

Record Video Chat Interviews

We are thinking that we will be sending out some basic equipment (web cam + microphone) to the people involved in the interview if they don't have the right stuff. It looks like ooVoo provides the split screen capability and ability to record and I've seen a couple instances on YouTube that look okay.
