SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 22, 2018 — MyGuide by EdCast, the in-app solution for guides, intelligence and automation for business software, is partnering with GP Strategies to debut its new edition, including automation features designed for the Oracle Cloud, at the Oracle OpenWorld 2018 event.
Oracle OpenWorld will hosts tens of thousands attendees as well as millions online. Tasks that start in desktop applications and end in the Oracle Cloud HCM can also be fully automated, such as time and expense reporting, benefits and payroll processing, and many other HR tasks. Corporate IT and L&D leaders can now see the direct relationship between software usage and employee productivity. MyGuide by EdCast is transforming the way team members are trained with customers that include ING Bank, Westpac and Blue Shield of California, among others.
GP Strategies, a MyGuide customer, is a truly global performance improvement company, serving more than 16 diverse industries. GP Strategies is a worldwide leader in enterprise technology adoption solutions, technical training, digital learning strategies and solutions and  management consulting services. They will be showcasing Oracle-specific solutions and will provide real-life examples of how enterprises improved their onboarding and training efforts in using MyGuide.
“Corporate training is shifting toward a model I call Learning in The Flow of Work™,” said Josh Bersin, global industry analyst and founder of Bersin by Deloitte. “As employees’ workloads increase, products such as MyGuide that embed user intelligence and automation are becoming essential to improving work efficiency and keeping people productive while they learn on the job.”
“Using tools like MyGuide, that embed step-by-step guides right into production applications, enables learning to occur on the job, freeing the organization to focus on the needs of the business by enriching processes,” stated Jeff Durand, Vice President at GP Strategies. “With these guides plus intelligence and automation, we are seeing a shift from the time-consuming, task-based training model to one in which digital guidance and coaching can occur as real-world tasks are being completed and often-repeated tasks can easily become automated.”
“With MyGuide’s automation capabilities, enterprises can now make task completion much more efficient when interfacing with Oracle’s HCM as well as other software applications,” says Kalpit Jain, Vice President and General Manager of MyGuide by EdCast. “Administrators that incorporate automation effectively can complement and enhance their corporate training efforts, sharply increasing the ROI of business-critical software applications.”
At the OpenWorld event, attendees can see the benefits of MyGuide and GP Strategies at Booth #4019 and at their speaking sessions on Monday, October 22 at 10:00a and Tuesday, October 23 at 12:00p at the The Exchange @ Moscone South – Theater 4. Please visit http://myguide.org to learn more.
