Screencasting is simply a technique for capturing your screen with voiceover and then sharing it online. In contrast, the scripted example took an hour to record and edit the voiceover, another hour to record the screen and then a couple more hours to edit the audio and video together afterwards. That’s a total of 2½ hours for the unscripted video, and 4 hours for the scripted version. BONUS: This post contains video examples to help you determine your best process.
