Apple allows cross-platform media players, whether hyperdocs (c.f. Outstart, Hot Lava, and Hybrid Learning) and media (e.g. What I care about is that, by not supporting cross-platform programs that output code for different operating systems (OS), Apple is hurting a significant portion of the market. I’ve previously discussed the fight between Apple and Adobe about Flash (e.g. here ), but I had a realization that I think is important.

And wherein a typical mLearning deployment was measured in 100s of mobile workers back in 2008 through 2010 and in the 1000s of mobile workers as recently as this past year, the target and committed audience for several active programs is expanding to 25K, 50K and more mobile workers for several planned initiatives we are supporting moving into 2013 – that’s something I’ll categorize as mainstream for sure for a lucky few!
