One of the really cool things about eLearning Learning and Browse My Stuff is the ability of the system to determine hot topics or trends based on the content that is being brought together in topic hubs. Using the system, I found that the top hot topics in eLearning for 2009. I would be very curious to hear thoughts on topics that you feel were big discussion points around eLearning that are not listed below. In other words, What’s missing? Hot Topic #1 - Twitter No surprise here. Twitter has been the talk of the town during 2009. For me, I’m still figuring out where twitter will fit - Twitter as Personal Learning and Work Tool. Hot Topic #3 - Google WaveI was somewhat introduced to the potential of Google Wave during the LearnTrends Conference. The flow is certainly better than a standard chat. While I still find it a bit clumsy, the potential is there for new kinds of interfaces that will support powerful new models for social learning.
