I am going to ASTD TechKnowledge® 2010 in Las Vegas next week. Options were PDF, Kindle, iPhone and other mobile devices. This year, ASTD is "going green" with paperless session materials (handouts) for concurrent education sessions. I used the Kindle option - mobi file loaded easily.

I’m glad to have a firm date, and the only real problem with 2 Feb is that it makes a dodgy proposition of having the book available for the very good TechKnowledge conference (where I’m presenting a mobile learning workshop on 1 February). Goodreader is a file viewer that allows you to read and annotate massive PDF and TXT files, as well as view most MS Office file types, iWork files, HTML, images, and audio/video. My personal favorite feature of the app is that I can open a PDF, annotate it (including signing), flatten the file to make it official, and send it.
