I get it you are new and are use to using PowerPoint, but PowerPoint is not an authoring tool, it is a “Presentation” tool – big difference. I find that it acceptable as long they use the appropriate terminology. Lots of potential here.

What I like about this approach is that it is less formal than if all of the shapes and images were created in PowerPoint. Both Windows Vista and 7 are pen-capable so you can use your computer to create the drawings. I happen to have a tablet pc, so I can draw right onto my PowerPoint slides.

Studio is a very nice product when it comes to creating courses with PowerPoint, but to me, the one that is often overlooked is iSpring. Publish directly to an LMS and LRS if you so choose.

For the iPad I use the Cosmonaut stylus because the thicker pen helps me hold it more like I would on a whiteboard than on a piece of paper.
