Images are made of tiny pixels (picture elements), or squares of color. You usually don’t notice individual pixels because they all blend together to form the picture that you recognize. You can see pixels when you zoom in really closely to a picture, or if you try to enlarge an image beyond what it can handle.

Typically this is a picture with an object appearing on a white background. However, instead of having a picture with a white box appear in your screencast, the white background is removed so only the object is shown. And best of all, they're easy to incorporate. The object then appears to float over the screencast.
