Plays quite well in Multi-Tenant (aka Extended Enterprise), SMB is its strong suite and mid-market. CrossKnowledge Learning Suite – I’m always surprised at the number of folks who never even consider CrossKnowledge, especially those who want a very good UI and UX. Cornerstone Learning Suite – NexGen Top Tier, Front end UI is solid – better than ever before, but still needs some tweaks. Saba Cloud – Saba is such a wild card here.

While I place Saba in the average spot, I do think Learning@Work is heading in the right direction (cloud based platform). . I love the deep learning component where courses are recommended based on a set of variables – which for Saba is courses/content taken or completed, skills and profiles. . Q : I am curious on why Cornerstone On Demand, Saba and SumTotal do not appear in your top twenty lists even though they appear on other sites as the best products in the market. Saba - A solid system, but IMO (in my opinion) better suited for talent/performance management. It used to be that people would mention CoD, SumTotal and Saba when they were looking at those three platforms – at least to me they would – but nowadays, I don’t hear that.

The biggest player is Panopto who also is in the corporate space, but personally, i think VLPs didn’t innovate enough and drive forward with stronger video functionality. MediaCore was a big time player, then they got acquired by Workday. What they are thinking is that they think all LMSs are Cornerstone, Saba, SumTotal, SuccessFactors, and they are not. Let me ask you an honest question. What is your personality type? Are you a Type A? Maybe a Type B?
