Michele over at the Bamboo project created a fabulous post (a new post) gathering some of the best elements, discussions, etc, of the current PLE conversation. PLEs were a hot topic at the eLearning Guild Conference in Boston, and its no surprise to me that they continue to be a hot topic.
The other story:
After I posted a quick review of Stephen Downe's presentation at the Guild conference on PLEs, Stephen pointed back to Michele's site...we all know what that does to your numbers ;-)
This encouraged Michele to rethink and repost her thoughts, and links regarding PLEs. In my sessions on blogs v. wikis, I mention the best use of blogs as tools of personal reflection. I would submit the above event as a great case study to support this point.

Brent, I think you're right that this is a case study in reflection. I also think it's a study in reflection for an audience. Before blogs, I wrote in a journal that no one saw. Now I can post my thoughts and get feedback and ideas from other people in a way that's infinitely more gratifying and interesting. It's like I'm in school every day, but I get to study what interests me with people who are passionate about the same things, want to keep learning and who are incredibly generous with their time and ideas. Reflection is important to me, but the interaction also pushes me to greater reflection and learning.
