When you bookmark on delicious, you can also see how others have tagged it. As citizens, PKM is part of our social responsibility; we should be learning about issues together. Social bookmarks are an easy first step–lots of people can have a purpose for this. Social bookmarking sites are less often blocked by corporate firewalls. Difference between PKM/PLE/PLN: PKM is more work-focused.

Occupying a place on the continuum somewhere between a VLE and a PLE, an ILE is an informal learning environment that a facilitator manages on behalf of a group of learners. Essentially, an ILE is a space (like a website or intranet site) that centralises relevant learning resources in a particular domain. The site may host some of those resources and point to others that exist elsewhere. Not to mention blogs, wikis, discussion forums and social bookmarks.

I reached out to the laptop, not my own, to try to open up my del.icio.us I use the Bookmarks feature to put these in the order I want them in, and to shorten their names so I can squeeze more on.
