Fixing the Sound in Adobe Captivate

WAV file, but Captivate would not load it into the slide. WAV file was 687 MB, while the *.MP3 I did not notice any quality difference between the two files; however, this was only a simple voice narration; a music or a more complex audio file will probably have a more noticeable loss of quality. Go to your Captivate 4 install folder (mine was located at: C:Program FilesAdobeAdobe Cativate 4).

This is how you start to think about voice characters after listening to them through text to speech synthesizers (TTS). Of course computer-generated voices do not have the warmth and richness of a human voice, nor can they display the range of talents found in a skilled narrator.
