Keeping Up - April's Big Question

When I do find interesting tools I will keep track of them using my Delicious account. April's Big Question from Learning Circuits is "How to Keep up?" This is in reference the immense and rapidly expanding technology tools. It is tough to stay on top of all the emerging tools. However, being involved in an e-learning community is a big help. For me it is a blog community and following many experts on Twitter.

What about Adobe products vs. Articulate vs. Qarbon ? Do you ever plan to track it in an LMS? Bill Sawyer posted in response to my Conversation Topics post. You can find posts aggregated via eLearning Learning - 100 Conversations. I've not met Bill before, and this was a great way to start. He is definitely challenged and thinking a lot about training standards. Bill has quite a few questions in his post: eLearning is suffering from the Beta/VHS or Blu-ray/HD-DVD challenge.

The version you want is the Pro version which comes with Corel Paint Shop Pro, Qarbon Viewlet builder. Very nice set of features including multi-track editing, ability to publish not just to YouTube but also Vimeo, picture in picture and audio scrubbing. While traditionally best of the best are announced in December, I decided why wait. I mean it is not like something is going to change in just a few weeks for any such product.
