They didn't really need tracking of user responses, instead they wanted them to be fun. Note: there are additional rating items such as would use again, vendor responsiveness, etc. And, Quizmaker allows you to track your results with your standards based Learning Management System as Quizmaker output is SCORM and AICC compliant.

For the rest of us, it isn’t, unless you see the latest takeaways as examples of what is to come or more importantly what hasn’t – which is really a could be doomsday to many vendors – unless they wake up! In my newest directory, I have 138 vendors. 4 desktop authoring tool vendors work with Windows 8.

When you see many of these awards from organizations – the general mass of them (but not all of them) require the vendor/company to submit an application for whatever category or categories. There is never any pay for play here – even my vendor clients are aware that they may not win best of the best. An additional note.

After over a year of looking and talking with several LMS vendors, I finally chose an LMS - ClickCourse from Rapid Intake. I wanted something that could track courses reliably, integrate with our existing customer extranet, generate basic reports, and be relatively easy to use.

A few vendors say “social learning” but it is often far from it. I’m always amazed at some of the names vendors come up with for authoring tools. My personal favorite feature is the timeline with individual tracks for audio, images and text. 14 Callidus Cloud – Rapid Intake.

Unfortunately, too many vendors in the e-learning space have failed to see the power and potential of this capability, and have decided to ignore them. However there are vendors who sell their API solution wrapped in a piece of software. Google code is open source code, so you can manipulate. Typically APIs are free. API Protocols.
