I find it difficult to master new enhancements working with each in isolation, so I have a tendency to add as many of a software tools enhancements to a single personal learning project as possible. For the new Captivate 2017 release I took a very text intensive tutorial created in Captivate 7 a few years ago and migrated up versions until I reached Captivate 2017. Converting from Captivate 7 to 2017. Project needed to be converted to 9 before migrating to 2017.

Adobe shows off Captivate 4 and the Adobe eLearning Suite

Adobe Captivate ‘Next’ I have been beta testing Captivate 4 for several months, so I was pleased to be invited by Adobe to the Adobe Learning Summit in San Jose on Monday 10th November. Adobe says it’s OK to blog about the next version of Captivate and the up-coming eLearning Suite, so here we go. The new Captivate CS4 contains several new features, notably customizable widgets, project templates, and text-to-speech.
