I will start with an apology for the broken links on the blog, the server that I am using here at the College has recently been moved and has since developed a problem with the fan, which eventually failed. The server itself is a little on old side, and so we are unable to get a replacement and so have decided to virtualise the server, hopefully all will be well very soon.

About 5 years ago the company I was working for had a product called Wimba Create and the term SCORM started swirling around in my head again. Wimba Create is an add-on for Microsoft Word and can convert content to a SCORM package that can be used in a learning management system (LMS). When this content is uncompressed on the LMS content server, it is considered deployed SCORM. by Jonathan Shoaf. The first time I heard the term SCORM was about 10 years ago.

For my own part in the day I brought along the work that I had been conducting on eLearning, much publicised on this blog, but I did take the opportunity to promote Wimba Create, which I think went down very positively. Besides, the latter way of quiz creation is an offline activityand solves the problem of demanding continuous access to a Moodle server.
