The Assessment recording mode in Adobe Captivate creates a step-by-step software simulation that is intended to function as a test. But if you actually put a Quiz Results slide at the end of your Assessment and try out your test, you’ll find that you get 100% every time!  And if you said that, you’d have a good point.

Animation and Media: Storyline is great for timed animation, special effects, and controlling exactly what each slide will look like. For a simple 2-person conversation simulation without extensive branching, I might use the Rise scenario block. For more complex visuals or animation, like simulating text messages , I use Storyline.

I don’t know if i am going mad, but i am pretty sure that in the past, i was able to add blank slides to the beginning of my software simulation, but I am no longer able to do so. I am also pretty sure that i could shuffle slides up and down in the filmstrip, but again, I am unable to do so as of a few days ago.

Storyline does a great job recording software simulations. Once you've recorded a simulation and added it to a scene, you will likely notice that Storyline captured too much. Right-click the slide that needs to be tuned and choose  Action Fine Tuning.

If each choice has 3 options, you end up with 9 slides after just 2 choices, and 27 after 3 choices. This results in 40 slides total with only 3 decisions per path, in a structure called a time cave. For example, I built a chat simulation with 50 passages in only 2 hours.

LiveCase : AI for building cases, scenarios, and simulations. mmhmm : Overlay a talking head on slides so the presenter and background or demo are both visible easily, with more customization than is possible in Zoom or other meeting tools on their own. The pricing isn’t shared on their website, so I assume it’s expensive.
