Nexlearn produces a tool called SimWriter which really makes the process of creating branching stories really very simple - that doesnt mean its easy - in fact I think one of the great lessons for people will be how quickly it can get difficult to add all the branches and nuances you want. where I am linking to all the Lewin stuff I find.
