Turns out that there is this site, Textbook Torrents, that is using BitTorrent to distribute free copies of expensive textbooks. Also turns out that right now the site is down and/or removed from its host but that is not really the point. Posted by: boete hypotheek | March 16, 2009 at 01:50 AM I predict an outcome similar to Napster for sites like Textbook Torrent. That means Facebook, the most popular site on college campuses after the filesharing sites.

Disorienting Dilemmas, Eye-Opening Openings, and Inspirational Closings: Online Training 101

It was a dark and stormy night; the rain fell in torrents, except at occasional intervals, when it was checked by a violent gust of wind which swept up the streets (for it is in London that our scene lies), rattling along the house-tops, and fiercely agitating the scanty flame of the lamps that struggled against the darkness.” Please share your examples with us through our social media sites. “All children, except one, grow up.” Barrie, Peter Pan (1911).

Walk2Web.yes, another one from the fine folks at WebWare.this one starts at whatever URL you enter and then looks for incoming and outgoing sites from that starting point and then lets you "walk" along those paths in a really, visually interesting way.

Now, the torrent of information generated by the ever increasing stream of new developments has rendered this impossible. Other tools I could not do without: Google Desktop Search: find anything on your computer or web sites really, really fast. Feeling lost?
