Work and learning are converging, and as this change happens, the infrastructure of the old corporate learning must go – things like traditional one-size-fit-all in-person training seminars. Ask net-savvy younger workers how they would like to learn new skills, and they bring up the features they enjoy outside of work: A personal profile so I can share information with my connections. Activity streams, like Twitter, so I know what’s going on and what people are talking about.
