I'm hard at work on my new Camtasia book, "TechSmith Camtasia 2022: The Essentials." If you create videos using Camtasia, the cursor in the resulting TREC files can be modified in the Camtasia Editor (you can add highlights, sounds, etc.). until now.

TechSmith Camtasia: Audiate = Awesomeness!

Typical editing tasks include removing fillers such as "um," silencing breath sounds, removing background noise, and removing long pauses. Along comes TechSmith Audiate, which integrates wonderfully with TechSmith Camtasia, and I have to say, I'm impressed. That audio always needs editing.

Either way, the asset will be downloaded from the TechSmith website and added to your project. You will need to ensure that you are running the latest Camtasia update. Using the assets is simple.

  If you attend my introduction to TechSmith Camtasia mini course , you learn how to use the Camtasia Recorder tool to create a software demonstration pretty early.     To add a click sound and visual effect, on the Timeline, double-click the video object again to move the Playhead back to the beginning of the video.

I received an email from someone who recently attended my TechSmith Camtasia virtual classes. To begin, TechSmith says that "larger videos (in resolution) will dramatically increase file size. " I completely agree with what TechSmith is saying. That is an excellent question! Set your project size right away.
