Modern networking: Make things, write about ideas, and tell people what you’re working on.

@david_perell

I had a fantastic time being part of the amazing LearningCon this week. With three days worth of sessions aimed at three different global time zones I couldn’t catch them all but I came away from all of the ones I did see with some valuable learning. (I’m super excited about the Zapier tricks Devlin Peck shared and how you can use it to trigger MailChimp campaigns based on xAPI activity.) And I can’t wait to scan the recordings to glean even more. Isn’t it energizing to learn cool new stuff that you can put to work right away!? For me, that ranks pretty high on my list. Kudos to Cath Ellis, Kim Tuohy, and everyone else involved with making such a great event possible.

What I’m Listening to: My son loves classic rock and since he’s helping me with some work today, we’re streaming Doobie Brothers radio this morning.
