We’re not saying our next team is famous or anything, but you may have seen them on calls, webinars or the occasional sticker. It’s time to meet Rustici’s Delight team!

“We’re the ‘phone-a-friend’ lifelines on the game show ‘Who wants to be a SCORMillionaire?’.”

-Nolan McDonald

Who you gonna call when there’s something strange with your standards content? Joe and friends! These are the faces you’ll see when needing help with troubleshooting courseware, setting up a proof of concept and implementing our software.

During the average day, you’ll find the Delight team:

  • Going above and beyond for 100% satisfaction on the Delight-O-Meter.
  • Wearing Crocs with socks, colorful robes and other defining attire.
  • Spending several hours answering questions and helping with software setup.
  • Trying to beat each other into the office to be first and cook the coffee.
  • Helping customers with integrations.

All while being excellent with customers and Rusticians alike.

Did you know? Joe Donnelly holds the top spot for longest tenured Rustician with Ryan and Kyle not far behind. “Just ask Joe” and “ask a Donnelly” are popular phrases around our office and with our customers. Delight is one of our largest teams, and they are all local to the Nashville area. This team has seen their fair share of interesting facts and very detailed medical images while troubleshooting courses for customers and the public alike.

Let’s meet the team!

If you could do anything for a day, what would you do? stay in a mountain cabin with a view and sit out on the porch reading a book.Kyle Patmor – Head Solution Seeker (aka Director of Client Integrations and Support)

Kyle leads our delight team supporting our customers’ success with our products and helps clients integrate Rustici Engine and Rustici Cross Domain into their applications. Kyle’s coolest moments at Rustici involve helping customers do crazy things with their integration code to meet their complex business needs.

“I love when the clouds part after struggling through a storm of an issue and telling them it’ll be smooth sailing.”

Who is your hero? My brother. Or maybe Reese Witherspoon.Joe Donnelly – Empathetic Teacher

You may know him from reading his helpful SCORM troubleshooting tips or from his face on stickers. Joe leads Tier 1 support and answers learning standards questions daily. What Joe enjoys most at Rustici is heading to conferences and meeting with customers in real life (especially if it’s near a Disney park). When not answering tickets, you’ll find Joe by the pool with his adorable pugs.

“I’m proud of how we do a lot with a little. We’re intentionally lean because we employ folks who over-perform.”

Who is your hero? James BaldwinRyan Donnelly – Star Customer Empathizer

Alphabetically the last Donnelly, Ryan supports SCORM Cloud customers with everything from bug reports to troubleshooting content. Like his brother Joe, Ryan is very proud of the support team having consistently high satisfaction ratings while answering a high ticket volume. A big music and movie buff, he’s the resident Rustici movie, music and television critic and updates Slack with his latest reviews.

“I enjoyed working on the original Content Controller support articles and user guide structure.”

What's something on your bucket list? One day, I'd like to work part time as a bartender. Joshua Turner – Happiness Engineer

Joshua helps customers integrate Rustici Engine into their applications and varied environments. He’s also the primary support lead when customers need to upgrade their Engine instances to take advantage of new features, bug fixes and security patches. When he’s not problem-solving, Joshua enjoys reading fantasy novels by his hero Robert Jordan and playing darts with Mrs. Turner.

“The coolest thing I’ve worked on at Rustici is contributing to Engine’s database upgrade and installation tool.”

Nolan McDonald – Delightful Developer

Nolan, the man in the famous robe, helps with support for SCORM Cloud. He really enjoys being able to meet the people behind support tickets and help them achieve their goals, and he’s most proud of the friends he’s made along the way. When he’s not troubleshooting, you can find Nolan attending live music events, eating all the food he can find, playing Super Smash Bros or napping on the weekends.

“I love helping customers solve all sorts of use cases with SCORM Cloud. It’s like a Swiss Army knife for content.”

Matt Byrd – Customer Success Advocate

The adopted Donnelly brother, Matt is our resident Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Content Controller. While he’s the newest member of the team, you wouldn’t know it as he’s jumped right in with both feet. He was even a good sport about answering support tickets while eating hot chicken during Rustici: The Gathering, which also happens to be one of his favorite things he’s worked on here. Matt loves being outdoors as much as possible.

“My favorite part of the day is helping people get unstuck and, hopefully, brightening their day by doing so.”

We’re not saying Rusticians are food motivated or anything, but between the fully stocked office kitchen, the magic whiteboard that conjures up our favorite snacks and burrito train Thursdays on Slack, we do get to know each other’s favorite treats.

Delight's favorite coffee, M&M flavor and go to Chipotle order.
